CNC Turning & Milling of Stainless Steel Seal Block for a Throttle Valve

One of our largest customers asked us to manufacture a 2-9/16” long seal block for a throttle valve that would be used in their latest steam turbine design. Material used was 416T stainless steel and manufactured on our Okuma Cadet Lathe and HAAS VF4 4-axis mill. Completed parts underwent extensive quality control before undergoing nitride heat treatment. The valves were also precisely machined according to the latest NPT pipe thread and heat treatment standards.

Impressed by our expertise in precision machining, our customer was pleased with the final component and continues to work with us on additional projects.
